Africa-Press – Angola. Petro de Luanda won yesterday (Friday), in the country’s capital, 1° de Agosto B, by 97-64, in the opening game of the second round (14th Matchday) of the National Senior Men’s Basketball Championship.
In the match played at the Victorino Cunha pavilion, at half-time, the “oil fighters” were already leading by 56-38.
With this victory, Petro de Luanda has 20 points and remains in fourth place, while 1° de Agosto B has 15, in 11th.
For the same round, Clube Amigos do Basquetebol de Benguela lost to ASA, by 62-97, Casa do Pessoa do Porto do Lobito beat Inter B, by 75-68, and Petro B defeated Akira Academy, by 96- 79.
Also playing are Clube de Formação Desportiva Kwanza against 1o de Agosto, and Vila Clotilde with the Jesus Cristo Basketball team.
