Africa-Press – Angola. PetroAngola has started the public voting process to determine the winners of the 2022 edition of the Angola Oil & Gas Awards.
Around 100 companies operating in the Angolan oil and gas industry are eligible for this edition, from operating companies, companies providing goods, services and professionals in the sector.
The award will be based on the companies’ operational and commercial performance, quality and service delivery capacity, and the contributions made to this important sector of the national economy will be evaluated for professionals and executives. There are a total of 8 categories, namely: Executive of the Year, Operator Company of the Year, Operating Company of the Year, Service Provider Company of the Year, Local Content Company of the Year, Corporate Social Responsibility of the Year, Fuel Distributor Company of the Year and Career Award.
The winners will be announced on the 19th of November, at a gala dinner to be held at the Hotel Epic Sana, in Luanda, which will be attended by the main executives and companies in the oil sector, as well as some government figures and other guests.
The Angola Oil & Gas Awards is a reference event in the national oil sector, which aims to award the best players and individuals in the Angolan oil and gas industry, with the aim of promoting local content and extolling the best achievements of the sector throughout of each year. This event was created to honor and reward companies and individuals that had an impactful performance and contributed significantly to the development of the Upstream, Midstream and Downstream segments of the Angolan oil industry.
