PGR confirms accusation by Generals Dino and Kopelipa in the CIF case

Africa-Press – Angola. The Attorney General’s Office (PGR) confirmed, this Tuesday, the indictment of Generals Manuel Hélder Vieira Dias Júnior “Kopelipa” and Leopoldino Fragoso do Nascimento “Dino”, in the China International Fund (CIF) case.

According to information, the PGR also stresses that the process involving the two figures ended last week.

It is recalled that the generals “Kopelipa” and “Dino” had been constituted in October 2020.

The two generals are accused of having benefited from contracts signed between the Angolan State and the CIF, within the scope of the now defunct National Reconstruction Office (GRN).

Among other developments, the CIF had in Luanda, two giant towers located on the street of the 1st Congress of the MPLA, in Ingombotas, and more than a thousand unfinished properties built with public funds, in the Zango Urban District, also in the country’s capital.
