Africa-Press – Angola. The second provincial secretary of the MPLA in Cuanza Norte, Sebastião Félix Cutaba, urged the OMA activists on Saturday, in Ndalatando, to remain united and cohesive, in order to be prepared for future challenges.
When speaking at the opening of the V ordinary meeting of the OMA Provincial Committee, the politician defended the need for the organization to work in favor of the ideals of the MPLA and its strengthening.
“Difficult times require people committed to the challenges and the party’s cause. Therefore, I urge the OMA to work on rejuvenating the organization, through the entry of young women into its ranks and ensuring their empowerment,” she highlighted.
During the meeting, OMA representatives from the province’s 10 municipalities elected activist Alcina Domingos Pedro as the organization’s new deputy provincial secretary.
She replaced Filomena Assunção Mateus de Lima, who has assumed the role of provincial secretary since December 2023.
During the meeting, participants analyzed reports on activities carried out in the last quarter of 2023, as well as reports from discipline and audit committees.
