Africa-Press – Angola. The second secretary of the MPLA in Cuando Cubango, João Miguel, this Friday appealed to the staff of the Angolan Women’s Organization (OMA) to reinforce the work of mobilizing new militants, with a view to enlarging the ranks of the party.
The party leader made this appeal during the opening of the first methodological meeting of the OMA provincial secretariat, defending the promotion of mobilization campaigns in all municipalities in the region, to strengthen cohesion and unity within the organisation.
“OMA must redouble its mobilization activities in all municipalities, raising awareness among women in urban and rural areas to join the party, for success in the next electoral challenges”, he stressed.
On the occasion, the politician encouraged OMA to continue to promote moral and civic values within families, respect for the diversity of socio-cultural communities, as well as the education of adolescents and children, in favor of healthy social coexistence and the development of the country. .
He predicted that the two-day meeting will outline strategies for the revitalization of the organization’s structures in Cuando Cubango, contributing to guarantee the MPLA’s continuity in the country’s governance, in favor of building a more developed, democratic Angola. and inclusive.
