Africa-Press – Angola. Politicians, businessmen and citizens of Marimba considered noble the professional and philanthropic qualities of the former MPLA MP, Monteiro Kapunga, who died on 12th of this month in Lisbon (Portugal), victim of illness.

Interviewed during the burial of his mortal remains, some politicians highlighted the achievements of the deceased as a businessman, as having contributed to the development of the country and Malanje in particular, given the social and economic projects he had been implementing.

The national secretary of the Angolan Women’s Organization (OMA), Joana Tomás stressed that youth has always been the focus of the former deputy, considering his business side, due to the jobs he created and the focus on professional training.

In turn, the second secretary of the MPLA Provincial Committee of Malanje, Nelo de Carvalho, described the deceased as a good person, as he always dedicated his attention to the party and to the problems of Marimba, his homeland, where over time contributed to improving the quality of life of citizens, providing training, employment and building infrastructure.

The first municipal secretary of Ambuíla, Uíge province, Justino Lourenço Kuyassana stressed that the former deputy was, above all, a humanist person, who did a lot for the aggrandizement of the party and the Tocoist church where he was an elder and gave all his support, whether in the construction of temples and other works.

Already the deputy to the National Assembly, João Diogo Gaspar said that Malanje loses a great man, whose deeds have always reflected directly in favor of citizens and as a parliamentarian he defended positions aimed at the common good.

Businessman Vunda Malheiro made it known that Monteiro Kapunga left the legacy of entrepreneurship to young people who tend to enter the business world.

In a message of condolence, the MPLA Municipal Committee of Marimba highlights solidarity, generosity, altruism and patriotism as aspects that characterized the deceased.
