Africa-Press – Angola. The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, travels Monday to Soyo, province of Zaire, for the celebration of the 47th anniversary of the Angolan Navy, one of the three branches that make up the Angolan Armed Forces (FAA).
President João Lourenço will reopen the Naval base of Soyo, after having benefited from a vast modernization process, the main activity that determines his trip to the municipality of Soyo, informed, this Sunday, the Press Secretary of the Presidential Palace.
The program also includes the official entry into operation of the Regional Maritime Coordination Centre, announced last Thursday by the Head of State, when he visited the works of the Maritime Coordination and Surveillance Center on the coast of Luanda, near Barra do Cuanza.
The Head of State returns to the country’s capital on the same day in the afternoon.
