Africa-Press – Angola. PRA-JA Servir Angola issued a statement this Sunday clarifying the health status of its leader, Abel Chivukuvuku, denying rumors circulating about an alleged “weakened state of health.”
According to a statement from the party, which OPAÍS had access to, Chivukuvuku suffered a hypotension crisis (low blood pressure) on Saturday, August 9. The episode occurred at the 4 de Fevereiro Airport, where he was accompanying the departure of the vice presidents and one of his grandchildren.
According to the statement, Abel Chivukuvuku felt unwell and needed help to return to his vehicle, which ended up generating rumors about an alleged weakened state of health.
The party also reported that Chivukuvuku is currently out of the country, caring for the health of a family member, after a recent tour of the eastern and northern provinces of Angola.
