Africa-Press – Angola. A letter from President João Lourenço was delivered this Sunday in Djibouti to the president of the African Union Commission, Moussa Faki Mahamat.
The letter, which was borne by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Téte António, requests the recognition and accreditation of the International Conference on the Great Lakes Region (ICGLR) as the African Union (AU) Regional Mechanism for the Prevention, Management and Resolution of Conflicts in Africa.
The message from the Angolan Head of State was delivered in his capacity as President-in-Office of the International Conference on the Great Lakes Region.
