Africa-Press – Angola. A message to the President of the Republic, João Lourenço, sent by the Equatorial Guinean counterpart, Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, was delivered, Thursday, in Luanda, by the country’s ambassador to Angola, Protasio Nnaga, to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Téte. Anthony.
The message, whose content was not revealed, should be related to the dissemination of the final results of the General Elections, which culminated in the re-election of João Lourenço to the position of President of the Republic.
The press note from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, made public yesterday, states that Angola and Equatorial Guinea enjoy “good relations” of friendship and brotherhood, and maintain cooperation agreements in the most varied fields of political, diplomatic, commercial, social life and cultural.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Téte António, received, yesterday, at Mirex headquarters, the Figurative Letters of the new head of the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Ghana in Angola.

Relations between Angola and Ghana are “excellent”, and the two countries maintain cooperation ties in the fields of peace and security, mineral resources, fisheries, agriculture and education.
The two States signed several agreements, among which the implementation of a bilateral commission, the suppression of visas in diplomatic and service passports, and a Memorandum of Understanding in the field of Education stand out.
The economy of the Republic of Ghana is one of the most diversified in Africa. It exports at least 78 products whose main destinations are India, China, Switzerland, South Africa and the Netherlands, being a potential partner to support Angola in the process of diversifying its economy.
