Africa-Press – Angola. The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, held a telephone conversation yesterday with the Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres, who expressed his concern about the situation prevailing in the relationship between the DRC and Rwanda.
This scenario, according to a note from the Press Secretary of the President of the Republic, justifies the urgent holding of the Luanda Summit, between the mediator Angola and the Heads of State of the DRC and Rwanda.
The Head of State decided to send the Minister of Foreign Affairs to Dakar to present to President Macky Sall, as acting President of the African Union, a message on the steps taken by Angola in fulfillment of the mandate of Malabo Summit.
