Africa-Press – Angola. The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, appointed Pedro Estêvão Buca on Thursday as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Electricity Distribution Company (ENDE), replacing Mário Alberto Mendonça da Silva.
According to an official statement from the President’s Press Office, Pedro Estêvão Buca was then the company’s executive director, a position from which he was dismissed in a previous order.
The Head of State also appointed Lauro Pinto Fortunato and Nelson Viando Paixão Pinto as new executive directors, while Izequiel Sebastião Manuel is permanently leaving the Board of Directors of this public company.
On the same occasion, João Lourenço terminated the term of António da Silva Inglês Pinto as Director for the Planning and Project Management Areas of the National Electricity Transmission Network (RNT), appointing Tárcio Amarildo Morais Cardoso in his place.
In turn, Osvaldo Adão Monteiro was appointed executive director of the Angolan Institute of Communications (INACOM).
