Africa-Press – Angola. The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, carried out this Wednesday, in Luanda, the inauguration of the Hospital Marterno-Infantil Manuel Pedro Azancot de Menezes, located in the Urban District of Camama, on a day that commemorates the 1st of June (Day of children).
Accompanied by the First Lady of the Republic, Ana Dias Lourenço, and members of the Executive, the Head of State is currently visiting the interior of the hospital unit where he receives explanations of the multiple valences of that infrastructure.
The Hospital Materno-Infantil Dr. Manuel Pedro Azancot de Menezes has an administrative area, an emergency bank, space for outpatient consultations, pediatric intensive care units with 10 beds, two of which are for isolation to treat infectious diseases.
The hospital also has 10 state-of-the-art incubators, two of which are intended for isolation with technical conditions capable of supporting critically ill newborns who need oxygen, among other compartments.
