Africa-Press – Angola. Creating party centers in the municipalities and boosting the mobilization and recruitment of new militants is one of the priorities of the new provincial secretary of Bengo of the Social Renewal Party (PRS), Adão Francisco Macumbi.
Elected this Sunday, at the provincial mandate renewal conference, Adão Macumbi, who replaces José Borges dos Santos, said he will also work to strengthen the party’s ranks.
The conference also elected 16 members of the provincial committee, five candidates for members of the national committee and 40 delegates to the V Ordinary Congress, scheduled for April, in Luanda.
The coordinator of the monitoring group for the PRS provincial conference in Bengo, Manuel Muxito, asked for more cohesion from the activists, to face future challenges.
54 delegates from the six municipalities that make up the province participated in the conference, namely Ambriz, Dande, Nambuangongo, Bula Atumba, Dembos and Pango Aluquém.
