Africa-Press – Angola. The sole candidate for the presidency of the Desportivo Sagrada Esperança group, José Muacabalo, promised Wednesday to work for the emergence of the Sociedade Anónima Desportiva (SAD), during the next term (2024-2028).
The outgoing president, who spoke to the press during the presentation of his candidacy, said that after the elections he will begin to create the administrative conditions to begin the creation of Sagrada Futebol SAD.
He explained that the measure aims to transform the club into a profitable, more professional association, with a view to the future Football League.
In case of victory in the elections, he promised investment in sporting and administrative infrastructure, boosting player training and launching the club into the top ranks of African football.
He added that he will boost and implement other sports, such as tennis, handball and basketball.
José Muacabol has been president of Sagrada Esperança since 2020, having won two titles so far, the National Championship (Girabola) and the Super Cup, in 2021.
