Africa-Press – Angola. The second day of the Angola International Trade Fair (FILDA) 2025, which runs until Sunday in the Special Economic Zone (ZEE) in the province of Icolo e Bengo, will be filled with workshops and forums organized by the exhibiting companies.
Digital Adoption in International Trade in Angola, Broadcast Made in Angola, Energy that Transforms, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Cybersecurity – The New Frontier of Digital Protection, and Trademark Registration Procedures are some of the topics to be discussed throughout the day at the event.
VECAUTO truck sales company will launch the new SHACMAN X3000 truck model, which addresses the industry’s challenges guaranteeing reliable vehicles, reducing high operating costs, and ensuring technical assistance in the provinces.
A strategic partnership agreement will be signed in the Special Economic Zone (ZEE) between TIS, a specialized technology consulting company, and GIANT SEGUROS, an insurance company.
The SIRIS platform, a technological solution developed entirely in Angola to address the challenges of the insurance sector, will also be presented, as part of the range of activities scheduled for Wednesday.
This edition will feature 2,194 direct and indirect participants from various sectors and 18 countries, surpassing the 1,707 exhibitors at FILDA/2024.
The event has changed from Luanda Internacional Fair to Angola International Trade Fair, the acronym FILDA remains the same, due to the size of the event and also taking into account the new Political and Administrative Division of the country.
Four pavilions are set up at the event, each with 8,000 square meters, 3,000 square meters, 2,000 square meters, and the last with 40,000 cubic meters in an entire covered area, as well as a surrounding area of 160 thousand square meters of covered area.
Under the motto “50 years, consolidating Angola’s economic independence and integration into the world,” this edition essentially aims to foster business and unite the best of Angola’s business community, in a strategy of economic progress and entrepreneurial vision for the country.
This edition’s novelty includes the creation of an Angolan cultural hall, where, for six days, works of art in painting, poetry, literature, music, dance, and other expressions representing the country’s 21 provinces will be exhibited, as well as a pavilion dedicated to the automotive sector.
