The Secretary of State for Pre-School Education and Primary Education, Pacheco Francisco, is traveling today to the city of Saurimo, Lunda-Sul province, where he will investigate the conditions under which the written test for the public entrance exam was carried out national external program for teachers.

In Luanda

The Secretary of State for Pre-School Education and Primary Education began his visit to the Ngola Kanini A and B School, accompanied by the president of the Jury Committee for the public competition for the province of Luanda, Philomene Carlos. Then he passed through Ngola Kiluanji with the same purpose.

According to the Secretary of State, the competition procedure complies with that established in the terms of reference, approved by a joint Executive Decree of the Ministers of Education and Territorial Administration.

To fill the vacancies, explained Pacheco Francisco, only candidates with primary education teacher training, with training in Teaching, Higher Institutes of Educational Sciences and Higher Pedagogical Schools, in the specialties of Pre-School and Instruction, are eligible to apply. Primary.

Available vacancies

For the Lunda-Sul public competition, the Ministry of Education (MED) made 353 places available, distributed to the municipalities of Cacolo, Dala, Maconda and Saurimo.

In accordance with Executive Decree No. 60/2023, of September 15, signed by the Minister of Education, Luísa Grilo, this public competition for external admission to fill 8,653 vacancies for the primary and secondary education teaching career was open to all the country.

The publication of the lists with the final results and admitted candidates, based on the competition schedule, are announced on December 22nd. The process closes on February 16th.

The president of the Jury Committee for the event in the province of Luanda, Philomene Carlos, said that 47,265 registered in the country’s capital, but only 24,925 were admitted to the written tests and of this number 1,090 are candidates with disabilities.
