Africa-Press – Angola. The enhancement of human dignity and the application of humanization and good practices in penitentiary units were defended by the Secretary of State for the Interior, this Monday, in Huambo, in the central act alluding to the 44th anniversary of the Penitentiary Service.
The Secretary of State for the Interior also said that there is a need to strengthen and train the inspection bodies in the control and supervision of all acts contrary to the normative principles practiced by those responsible at all levels of the central and provincial bodies, writes the Ministry of Interior Facebook page.
José Paulino also underlined that continuity should be given to technical and professional training actions for prisoners and the promotion of comprehensive training, as well as regular interviews that allow their insertion into society, after serving their sentence, so that the levels of of criminal recidivism.
