Africa-Press – Angola. Three hundred and 59 boxes of frozen fish (sardines) in a state of deterioration were, on Friday, seized by the Criminal Investigation Service (SIC), in the municipality of Mbanza Kongo, province of Zaire.
According to the SIC spokesman, JoseĢ Bernardo, the goods were seized in a commercial establishment, located in the 11 de Novembro neighbourhood, on the outskirts of the city of Mbanza Kongo.
At the time, the 32-year-old owner of that merchandise was arrested, accused of selling frozen fish in poor condition.
According to the source, the crime of adulteration of food substances weighs on this citizen.
The seized product will be incinerated in the coming days.
