A balanced challenge is expected, despite the reduced number of games each team has played.
The Lobitangas have a team made up of a lot of youth, given the departure of most of the more experienced players from the previous season.

Desportivo da Huíla is the holder of the trophy, after beating Petro de Luanda on penalties (3-1), after a goalless draw in regular time.
