Africa-Press – Angola. Cuanza-Norte’s tax revenue grew by 7.2 percent in the first half, to 2,900,678,792 kwanzas, compared to 2,704,048,556 in the same period last year, according to a report by the Provincial Finance Delegation.
The document, attributes the growth in tax revenues to the resumption of economic activity, as well as the payment of taxes on receipts from some suppliers of goods and service providers to the State.
Among the revenues with the highest volume, we highlight income tax, with 1,222,986,619 kwanzas, VAT (852,428,067), income from economic activities (463,490,604), economic activities (134,342,783), of Consumption (46,392,855), Stamp (39,766,711), on Various Services (22,626,173) and Income from Various Appraised (230,695,426).
In the same period, VAT under the General Regime was estimated at 495,702,783 kwanzas, of which 341,951,834 kwanzas relate to Captives and 173,381 to other types of VAT.
The tax division that raised the most is that of Ndalatando (Cazengo), with 2,047,139,682 kwanzas (70.57 percent of the total), followed by Dondo (Cambambe), with 466,449,371 (16.08 percent). , and Camabatela (Ambaca), with 387,089,739 (13.34 percent).
The Finance Delegation considers the figure collected in the semester under analysis to be encouraging, considering that it reflects the work developed to broaden the tax base.
