Africa-Press – Angola. Twenty-eight technicians from the Administration of the municipality of Caála, Huambo province, began, this Monday, to be trained on the new rules of administrative procedures, in light of Law 31/22, of 30 August.

Scheduled to end on the 30th of this month, the seminar, in an initiative of the National School of Administration and Public Policies (ENAPP), will equip participants with matters linked to the competencies to be observed by the Public Administration, conflicts, the deontological agenda, the values and duties of public servants.

When speaking at the opening of the event, ENAPP trainer, João Nangola, informed that the training action aims to train Public Administration employees to better adapt to the regulations, which replaced Decree-Law 16th/95, of December 15th..

He informed that the seminar was also created to study the new Basic Law on Public Service (26/22, of 30 August), as well as to have a general overview of other legislation related to administrative activities and procedures.

For his part, the chief secretary of the Administration of the municipality of Caála, Norberto Pacheco, representing the local administrator, Rúben Etome, praised the ENAPP initiative, due to the importance of training in improving public service.

He advised participants to pay greater attention to the content to be taught, to better adapt to the new rules to be observed by this State body, taking into account the satisfaction of the collective interest.

Known in the past as “Queen of Corn”, the municipality of Caála, inhabited by 342 thousand 463 inhabitants, has a territorial extension of three thousand and 680 square kilometers, which make up its four communes (Calenga, Catata, Cuima and Sede).
