Africa-Press – Angola. Technological equipment and food items have been on display (Wednesday) in the city of Uíge, at the technical education, professional training and entrepreneurship fair (FETFOPE/2024).
The event, lasting two days, is an initiative of the Provincial Education Office, in partnership with the Provincial Service of the National Institute of Employment and Professional Training (INEFOP) in Uíge.
It brings together more than 20 educational and professional training institutions, which display cutting and sewing material, IT, agricultural products, commerce, among others.
At the opening of the fair, the vice-governor of Uíge for the Political, Social and Economic sector, Sónia Arlete, said that with the holding of this fair, the provincial government intends to value human and technological potential, in order to encourage entrepreneurial initiatives and other professional training.
He recalled that a young professionally trained person has the capacity to create his own job and also employ other citizens.
On the occasion, the deputy coordinator of the Technical Education, Professional Training and Entrepreneurship Fair (FETOPE), José da Costa, said that the event aims to demonstrate the potential of technical and professional education institutions in the province.
