Africa-Press – Angola. At the Indira Gandhi International Airport in the Indian capital, the Angolan head of diplomacy was received by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Angola in India, Clemente Camenha, and by the Ambassador of India in Angola, Vidhu P. Nair.

India is Angola’s third largest trading partner, sharing around 10% of Angola’s foreign trade, mainly through the purchase of crude oil and bulk oil.

Economic cooperation between the two countries has grown over the years, with a focus on strategic sectors such as energy, trade, mining, agriculture and information technology.

India imports a significant amount of Angolan crude oil, with Angola being one of the largest African suppliers of oil to the country.
