Africa-Press – Angola. The work of volume II of the collection “The Bantu in the Vision of Mafrano – Almost Memories”, by the writer Maurício Caetano “Mafrano” (posthumous work), will be launched on the 25th of this month, in Luanda.
According to a press note, the event will take place at the Extension of the Catholic University (UCAN) building, in Largo das Escolas, and will be presented by Bishop Dom Manuel Imbamba.
It should be recalled that Volume I of the collection was released in Luanda, Huíla, Namibe, Cuanza-Norte and Cabinda and in countries such as Mozambique, Cape Verde, São Tomé and Príncipe and Portugal.
Volume I and II of the collection “Os Bantu na Visão de Mafrano” was edited by the author’s family, based on scattered texts in the Catholic newspaper “O Apostolado”, between 1957 and 1982, where the author was a correspondent.
Maurício Caetano, author of the work, was born in Dondo, municipality of Cambambe, province of Cuanza-Norte, he was an employee of the then Finance and Accounting of Angola, Ministry of Finance and professor of Portuguese Language and Philosophy.
