Africa-Press – Angola. The third edition of the “Echoes of Methodism” music festival, organized by Monumental Gospel, will take place next Sunday (28), at 4 pm, at the Coqueiros Stadium in Luanda.
According to Conceição Lima, of Monumental Gospel, the event will feature the Echoes of Methodism Choir and 16 special guests from the gospel world.
She highlighted that among the names already confirmed are Nair Nany, Geraldo Sacó, Irmão Kapacata, Fiston Matuta, Irmã Cubana, Victor António, Joly Makanda, Palmira de Carvalho, Avó Enviado, Jackson Falcão, Mana Catila, Kemy Valente, Irmão Chico, Kenny Germano, Irmão Cisco, Felino, Chiwale, as well as the choirs of Mamãs and Coceval.Conceição Lima also stated that the purpose of the gathering is to exalt the name of God alone.
She stated that the event is ecumenical in nature and open to all.
She emphasized that “we will invite people from all congregations with the sole purpose of exalting the name of God.”
She reported that tickets are being sold for two (2) thousand kwanzas, with VIP tickets already sold out.
“We only have regular tickets, which are the ribbons, priced at two (2) thousand kwanzas,” she explained.
She clarified that on the day of the concert, the stadium doors will open at 2:00 PM, with the program scheduled to begin at 4:00 PM.
