Africa-Press – Angola. The volume of business between Angola and Turkey, in the electricity and technology sectors, remains at the figure of 6.2 billion dollars, since 2023, announced, on Thursday, in Luanda, the head of the Turkish Association of Exporters of Electrical and Electronic Products (TET).Burak Başeğmezler, who revealed these figures during a business meeting between business delegations from Angola and Turkey linked to the electronics and electricity sectors, proposed improving the economic and financial partnerships between the two countries.
The head of the Turkish business delegation also considered that trade relations between the two countries are increasingly deepening, with positive records in imports and exports of services and products in 2023.
The Turkish businessman described that, even so, the results achieved in the last two years represent a low rate of trade exchanges. According to him, in order to reverse the situation, it is necessary to move forward with business partnerships to improve the current framework of trade relations.
In this context, the official called for greater proximity between economic operators, so that investors can carry out their programs without “doubts” about investing and promoting mutual investment in each of the nations. The association’s meeting brought together a total of 51 companies, of which 11 were Turkish and 40 were Angolan.
