Africa-Press – Angola. The National Under-17 Football Team, travelled to Morocco on Thursday with the aim of participating in the African Nations Championship, where they will make their debut on April 1, at 5 pm, against Mali, in a Group D game, at the Municipal Stadium of Berrechid.

The national team, coached by Domingos da Silva “Mitó”, came third in the 2019 edition in Tanzania, will face Côte d`Ivoire in this group stage on April 4th and on the 7th they will face the Central African Republic.

The team ended their preparation in the capital this Wednesday, after a friendly match against the U-19 team, which it won 3-0.

For this edition of the AFCON, which will take place from the 30th of this month to the 19th of April, Angola will be represented by Gelson, Luís and Tremoço (goalkeepers), Ivan, Galinha, Josemar, Lourenço, Marquito and Hugo (defenders), Athos, Lucas, Densel, Flávio, Puna, Jairo, Manelson and Omar (midfielders) and Ayase, Edilásio, Eliseu, Kalanguinha, Rasgado and Ginima (strikers).
