Africa-Press – Angola. The president of UNITA, Adalberto Costa Júnior, who ended this Sunday the activity of evaluating the party’s actions in the province of Uíge, highlighted the commitment of the militants in the region, for the results achieved in the general elections of 2022.
In the 2022 election, UNITA managed to obtain two deputies for the provincial circle of Uíge.
As a result, Adalberto Costa Júnior reciprocated the trust deposited by the militants, as well as the massive participation in the party’s political acts.
The UNITA leader, who arrived in Uíge province on Friday, held meetings with civil society in the municipalities of Uíge, Maquela do Zombo and Quimbele, where, among other matters, he discussed the country’s socio-economic situation.
At the end of his agenda, in the municipality of Quimbele, Adalberto Costa Junior spoke of the need to stop the ravines on the Sanza Pombo/Quimbele road, as well as highlighting the need for the implementation of local authorities in the country.
Over the last few days, asphalting work has been carried out on the Sanza Pombo/Buengas road, as well as the stagnation of ravines in that section.
