Africa-Press – Angola. UNITA acknowledged, for the first time, that it lost the General Elections of 24 August, but adds that the MPLA did not win with an absolute majority.
“These definitive results are not correct and the MPLA did not win with an absolute majority”, said the vice-president of the UNITA parliamentary group, Mihaela Webba.
The deputy says that the party will prove with the minutes in possession of the Constitutional Court that the “MPLA did not win with an absolute majority”.
