Africa-Press – Angola. The first secretary of UNITA in Cuanza Norte, Francisco Fernandes, expressed the party’s willingness to work with the Provincial Government to develop the province and improve the population’s quality of life.
Francisco Fernandes, who spoke (Sunday), at the opening of the IV Ordinary Meeting of the UNITA Provincial Committee, stated that for the good of the province and Angola, the Provincial Government can count on the party.
Francisco “Falua” hopes that the governor will work to promote unity among citizens in the province, preserve peace, combat exclusion and political intolerance.
For the first provincial secretary of UNITA, the motto of the new governor of the province “Together, hand in hand”, must imply the inclusion of everyone, for the development of the province.
The provincial head of UNITA in Cuanza-Norte welcomed the appointment of João Diogo Gaspar as the new governor of the province and hopes that this change will contribute to the improvement of the province’s governance and the social conditions of the populations.
Meanwhile, he urged the participants of the IV Ordinary Meeting to work better so that UNITA leads the province’s political mosaic in electoral challenges.
The meeting aimed to balance the actions carried out last year, analyze the dynamics and perspectives of the party, as well as the social and economic situation of the province.
