The Secretary of State for Finance and Treasury, Ottoniel dos Santos, guaranteed, on Tuesday, in Benguela, the Ministry’s full commitment to making payments on withdrawal orders already issued and in arrears.Speaking to the press on the sidelines of the opening of the 14th Consultative Council of the Ministry of Finance, which ended yesterday (Wednesday), the Secretary of State explained that, within the time limit set for starting to approve withdrawal orders, which is 90 days, work is underway to recover this limit, so that the Finance Department’s actions comply with the time horizons.
“Regarding everything we have been working on within the scope of our vision, to be able to have all withdrawal orders approved, the internal work we are doing, within the time limit set for starting to approve withdrawal orders in the order of 90 days, we are working to recover this limit and be within the time horizon set for these withdrawal orders to be approved”, he stated.
The Secretary of State for Finance and Treasury, Ottoniel dos Santos, assured that work has already begun with the institutions that have been supporting us in the process of dealing with all the arrears in terms of withdrawal orders that are still in the system.“We are already at one third of the amount that was still pending to be settled. When asked about possible delays in salary payments, the Secretary of State for Finance and Treasury, Ottoniel dos Santos, denied the existence of any possible delays in salary payments.
