A total of fifty young people, in the municipality of Londuimbali, in the province of Huambo, benefited, last week, from professional kits for Electricity, Electronics, Masonry, Carpentry, Metalworking, Hairdressing, Cutting and Sewing, Pastry and Agriculture, within the scope of the of Action for the Promotion of Employability (PAPE).
The municipal responsible for the Integrated Economic Development, Sabino Saluquengo, informed that more than one hundred young people have already been benefited, since the implementation of the PAPE in the district.
“Those who received the kits were advised to work to increase production levels for the benefit of communities, boost the economy and help lift thousands of young people out of unemployment,” said Sabino Saluquengo.
Remember that the Action Program for the Promotion of Employability has already generated more than fifty thousand jobs.
José Chitongua, one of the beneficiaries, applauded PAPE’s gesture, adding that it will contribute to the growth of Londuimbali.
Antonina Sabino, who received a sewing kit, said she had long been waiting for such a gesture to improve her activities.
PAPE is a mechanism used by the Executive to support actions to promote employability, especially for young people.
