Africa-Press – Angola. The need for young Angolans to invest in agriculture to diversify the national economy, was defended on Saturday, in the province of Cunene, by the president of the Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Angola, Alfredo Nguli.

In a statement on the second day of the national entrepreneurial youth forum, the youth leader considered young people to be the driving force behind the development of society, synonymous with creativity and innovation.

The person in charge highlighted the need for young entrepreneurs to invest in programs that aim to increase skills and abilities in the most varied spheres of national life.

Alfredo Nguli said that promoting rural products is extremely important to expand initiatives, towards the sustainability of families and the development of the country.

Stage by situation, he said, AJEA is working on training and empowering young entrepreneurs by addressing themes that aim to empower and catapult companies in the management of financial literacy, accounting and human resources.

He recalled that the event, part of the second edition of Ignação 2024, also includes the holding of EXPO AJEA, to consolidate the ideas, products and services that Angolan youth have been undertaking.

At the event, which is attended by representations from the provinces of Cunene, Cuando Cubango, Huila, Uige, Moxico, Benguela and Luanda, products such as fish, honey, tubers and vegetables, service provision and other businesses are on display.

On the second day of debates, participants addressed topics about the challenges faced by young people in entrepreneurship in a globalized society and the role of the Ministry of Youth and Sports in promoting entrepreneurship.

The Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Angola (AJEA), currently controls eight thousand and 223 members, in 18 provinces and 10 countries.
