Africa-Press – Botswana. President Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi on Sunday met citizen Ms Game Dibeela, a political advisor with the Commonwealth Secretariat’s African Governance and Peace Directorate.

Ms Dibeela, who served in the Presidential Commission of Inquiry into the Review of the Constitution, thanked President Masisi and his government for giving her the opportunity of being part of the commission, which she said had opened doors for her and played a critical role in her current employment.

The Thamaga-born young woman, who has also worked for the UN and SADC, said Botswana had a quality education system that should not be taken for granted. She holds a degree in Political Science and Public Administration from the University of Botswana and a masters in International Studies from Stellenbosch University.

Ms Dibeela urged Batswana, particularly the youth, to believe in themselves, saying they too had what it took to compete globally.

President Masisi thanked her for serving in the commission that he said did a sterling job in getting Batswana’s views on the review of the constitution. He wished her the best and urged her to keep flying the country’s flag high.
