The national football championship returns this weekend, after the interregnum for the Cape Verde Cup, with Travadores looking for points, at the start of the third round of the competition. This third round opens today, Friday at 4pm, at Estádio Aquiles Oliveira, on Ilha Brava, with Morabeza hosting Figueirense (May), counting for group C.

The red team from the capital travels to Santo Antão Norte to face, Saturday at 4 pm, at Estádio João Serra, the formation of Santo Crucifixo, who with four points will try to win to keep group A in the lead.

The Travadores, who have two defeats in as many rounds, urgently need a victory to keep their dream of reaching the semi-finals alive.
