Africa-Press – Cape verde. The vice prime minister and minister of Finance, Olavo Correia, said today that the government would implement a mechanism whereby all public purchases would be made on an electronic platform.
This announcement was made today by Olavo Correia, during the parliamentary debate with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance on this last day of the first Plenary Session of May.
“From next year all public procurement will go electronic on a digital platform so that everyone is aware and so that we can afford to pay for the possibilities of the state on time as well,” he said.
Olavo Correia also spoke of strengthening control institutions so that all internal and external control can be reinforced and Cabo Verde can further increase its relevance in terms of promoting transparency and good governance.
