Africa-Press – Cape verde. Cape Verdean international player Telmo Arcanjo was awarded the prize for best young player of the 2022/2023 season of the Second League of Portugal. Telmo militates in the formation of Vitória de Guimarães.
The 22-year-old midfielder was also chosen to join the “team of the year” of the Portuguese Second League.
It should be recalled that in September 2022, Telmo also received the league midfielder of the month award, even while playing for the Clube Desportivo de Tondela team, where he served four seasons, before transferring, in this summer market, to team of the “conquerors” of northern Portugal.
Training
With passages in the formation, by clubs like Sporting and Belenenses, the versatile midfielder/forward ended the 2022/23 season, with a record of eight goals and five assists in 36 matches for Tondela.
Despite being 21 years old, Telmo Arcanjo is already capped five times by Cape Verde, with a promising career ahead of him.
