Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Prime Minister of Cape Verde, José Ulisses Correia e Silva, will preside over the opening ceremony of the Jubilee Forum of Cape Verdean Youth 2024, which will take place on the 12th of this month, in Praia.
Under the motto “For the commitment and contribution of young people with/for the Cape Verdean nation”, the event is part of the celebrations of the Jubilee of Cape Verdean Youth 2024 and the commemoration of the fiftieth centenary of the creation of the Diocese of Santiago de Cabo Verde.
This event constitutes a platform for participatory, representative and inclusive dialogue, which aims to be open and permanent.
The forum aims to reflect and act on the “Generation of 500 Years (G500)”, which will extend until 2033 and beyond, focusing on the integral development of young Cape Verdeans and their important role in the sustainable human development of Cape Verde.
