After an intense championship, Travadores ended up confirming their favoritism by winning the regional championship in Santiago Sul, at the close of the 20th round and 20 years later, since the last time they had achieved this feat.
The two goals that dictated the victory and the title were scored by Sérgio.

Clube Desportivo Travadores was created on October 15, 1930 and has four national titles (1972, 1974, 1994, 1996), eight championships in Santiago and one in Santiago Sul.
The last regional title was won in the 2002/2003 season.
Travadores currently hold the Praia Cup, Santiago Super Cup, Cape Verde Cup and Cape Verde Super Cup, and are currently in the final of the South Santiago Cup 2022/23, with the final already booked against Académica da Praia.
