Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Radio category leads the list of candidacies for the 6th edition of the National Advertising Award (PNP), representing 39% of the competing works. The gala to meet the winners takes place on March 31.

According to the organization of the PNP, in second place in the list of candidacies is the Internet category (16%) and in third place is the Integrated Campaign (14%).

This is followed by the TV and Branding Activation (9%), Branding (7%), Print (5%) and Junior University (2%) categories.

These data were advanced in a press release after the first meeting of the jury, on Saturday, 11th, to find out about the works competing for the prize.

Chaired by Brazilian screenwriter Di Moretti, the panel of judges includes Susana Lopes (brands), Ana Pinto Martinho (university professor of web copywriting and storytelling), Isabel Pires (marketeer) and Jennifer Brazão (representative of the Ministry of Culture and Creative Industries). .

They have until February 18 to evaluate the 44 works submitted to the competition.

Majority competitors in Santiago

The pieces were presented by agencies, production companies, the media, as well as solo and university creatives. Out of a total of 11, the majority operating on the island of Santiago (90.91%), only 9.09% are from São Vicente.

It should be remembered that in the first edition, in 2017, five companies competed for the PNP, with a total of 34 works. The average number accumulated during the six years of the PNP is 47 jobs and 11 companies.

The winners of the 6th edition will be announced at the gala to be held on the 31st of March, at a location yet to be announced.
