Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Court imposed preventive detention on two of the three individuals arrested by the National Police in Porto Novo, Santo Antão, for possession of narcotics. The third defendant was subject to periodic presentations to the authorities.
According to the National Police announcement today, the arrests took place on August 27th, in flagrante delicto, with three Cape Verdean citizens, two men and one woman, aged between 17 and 31, being intercepted.
During the operation, 228 doses of narcotics were seized, including packages of cocaine, two cell phones, and 2,000 Cape Verdean escudos in cash.
The detainees were brought before the first judicial interrogation, where the coercive measures were determined.
