The Cape Verdean international Zé Luís, formerly of FC Porto and Braga, currently playing for Hatayspor, in Turkey, is safe and well after the earthquake that hit Turkey and Syria in the early hours of this Monday, 6th . Christian Atsu, a colleague of Zé Luís who was missing, has already been found alive and taken to the hospital with injuries.

In addition to Zé Luís, Rúben Ribeiro, a former Sporting and Rio Ave player, currently also at Hatayspor, managed to escape safely from the earthquake that hit Turkey and Syria this morning.

Christian Atsu, a former FC Porto player currently at Hatayspor, was missing, but has since been found alive and taken to the hospital with injuries.
