Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Regional Football Association of North Santiago (ARFSN) will have this coming weekend, 18 and 19 March, the dispute of the first round of the North Santiago Cup.
Five games are scheduled between the 10 teams, from the 1st and 2nd divisions.
On Saturday, the 18th, AJAC and Dangerous enter the field, in a dispute to be played at Estádio Municipal de São Miguel, at 2 pm, while at 3 pm, the meeting between Estrela dos Amadores and Scorpions takes place at Estádio Municipal do Tarrafal.
União dos Picos and 100Tital will play at Estádio Municipal do Tarrafal, at 2 pm, and the formation of ADEC and Beira-Mar, at 3 pm, at Estádio Municipal 25 de Julho, in Santa Cruz.
On Sunday, to close this first round, Esperança de São Miguel and Grémio Desportivo de Nhagar will face off at the Municipal Stadium of São Miguel at 2 pm.
Second round awaiting new draw
According to the ARFSN, the teams that qualify for the second round will meet their opponents through a new draw.
The North Santiago Cup is the second biggest football competition in the North region of Santiago, disputed between teams that play in the 1st and 2nd division, in which it will be known who will succeed Esperança da Calheta de São Miguel, who won the last 2021/22 season edition.
