Africa-Press – Cape verde. The III Volume of the anthology “Women and Their Destinations”, coordinated by Lena Marçal, will be released this Wednesday afternoon, 8th, International Women’s Day. The launch is scheduled for 5 pm in one of the hotels in the capital, in the city of Praia.
“Women and Their Destinations”, a social project, has in this third volume the participation of men.
According to the project’s mentor, Lena Marçal, the work brings “special messages” from “two distinguished guests”, namely the writer and Camões Prize 2018, Germano Almeida, and the writer Carlota Alves, the latter honored in April 2022, by SOCA Magazine.
250 works
“Women and Their Destinations” 2023 edition has 250 works divided into two books, one of poems & paintings and one of prose.
The presentation of the work by Daniel Medina, Lígia Herbert and Nardi Sousa takes place on the afternoon of this Wednesday, March 8th, International Women’s Day, in one of the capital’s hotels.
Taking into account its social nature, the author’s rights revert to the Sima Júlia Foundation and the Association for the Development of Chã das Furnas.
