Africa-Press – Cape verde. Seven environmental organizations launched today, July 16, the national campaign “Recycling is caring for our planet,” which, over the course of four months, will promote the collection of plastic bottle caps in various parts of the country. “The collected bottle caps will be sent to Biosfera’s plastic processing unit, Plast’icina, where they will be recycled and converted into new sustainable products,” he reveals.
According to the same note, in addition to the collection, several awareness-raising actions are planned for the communities, with the purpose of reinforcing environmental awareness and encouraging more sustainable behaviors.

According to the same source, the initiative also focuses on strengthening collaboration between NGOs, community groups, and government entities, promoting dialogue, information sharing, and joint actions in favor of environmental protection.
