Africa-Press – Cape verde. The National Director of Education, Adriano Moreira, announced today that the Olympics of School Sports 2023 will take place from March 27 to April 2, in Praia, involving all schools in the Country.
Adriano Moreira made this announcement at a press conference in Praia, organized by the Ministry of Education and the Institute of Sports and Youth for the presentation of the “Olympics of School Sports – Praia 2023”.
“We are going to hold the 2023 School Sports Olympics, which involves all schools in the country, as it is an event of “great importance” for both ministries, where the young people will have the opportunity to show their talent in terms of sport”.
The same source also added that this event values each student’s autonomy, personality, physical capacity, relationships with others and the surrounding group, which makes them also increase, at the same time, self-esteem, knowledge and its autonomy. Especially in developing a culture of peace, solidarity and fraternity among the elements of the educational community.
