Africa-Press – Cape verde. The Community Association “Donu nha distinguished” from the city of Praia is promoting a campaign to raise school supplies to support children in the neighborhoods of Castelão and Coqueiro.
According to this association, which works in the area of social and community integration and development, with the start of the school year, “it becomes imperative to create basic conditions” for students in the neighborhoods of Castelão and Coqueiro, with regard to access school materials, so that they can start the school year with better quality.
The objective is to be able to support at least 100 children from these neighbourhoods.
In this sense, they launched the campaign “Teach solidarity”, with the main objective of collecting school materials through donations, either in any type of school material or through money, thus appealing to a djunta mon for this cause.
