The President of the Municipal Assembly of Praia, Maria Clara Marques, said Thursday that the municipality calls for “better sanitation, better health, education, better environment, more social protection and better security”, despite “important” transformations and development.
Maria Clara Marques made this analysis during her speech in the solemn session alluding to the Praia Municipality Day, which is marked today.
“After 48 years, the municipality of Praia has undergone important transformations and an important development, but calls for better sanitation, better health, education, better environment, more social protection and better security,” she said.
In this sense, she argued that there is a need to do “more and better”, since “there is much to do”, noting that the municipality is “more than the city of Praia”.
