Budgeted at 135 million escudos, the seafront of Calheta “creates value to São Miguel, and to citizens who gain another place for leisure, entertainment, but also to practice physical activity and valorization in economic terms”, according to the Government.
With a length of 2.5 km, this work includes a bicycle lane, green areas, urban wooden furniture, afforestation, public lighting, among other works to “improve the city’s panorama”.
The opening act scheduled for this Monday starts around 3 pm, with some cultural and sporting activities, with a high point at 5 pm.
